London, United Kingdom: Two tall ships sail towards Woolwich during the 2017 Regatta. Around 40 Tall Ships are scheduled to sail the river Thames to Greenwich, marking the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation. Over the Easter weekend, on 13 to 16 April 2017, the ships will be anchored at the Maritime Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site in Greenwich town centre, and at the Royal Arsenal Riverside in Woolwich before they sail to Quebec, Canada, via Portugal, Bermuda and Boston. The Watoto Choir performs at Woodgrange Baptist Church during their six-month UK tour. Founded in 1994 by Gary and Marilyn Skinner, Watoto is currently caring for approximately 1,800 orphaned children Uganda, they are also committed to restoring dignity to HIV-positive women who are left to bear the brunt of AIDS, war and social injustice.
